iPower tells the story of a girl in a society where machines, specifically phones, control everything.  They can send people back in time to kill other people that have too much knowledge.  Usually, those who are left are unable to remember the lives of those who were murdered, but one girl still remembers her friend when she wakes up one morning to discover she is gone.   She breaks into a government library and discovers the truth about the phones and the name of who invented them.  She tricks the phone into sending her back in time to find the person who invented them and convince her not to invent the phones.  However, a security officer finds her and chases after her through time.
